cs: CONTENT GENRE CS

This dimension is used to classify programmes according to their content or subject. Unlike in the case of the form dimension, it is essential to hear the programme. This classification schemeis a superset of different classification shemes including in particular TV-Anytime's ContentCS and Mpeg-7's ContentCS, themselves originally based on EBU's ESCORT 2.4. Backward compatibility has been maintained with TV-Anytime's ContentCS termIDs of TS 102 822 v010301. Ather significant resource to be used for news applications is the IPTC's SubjectCode list.
