Definition
the event of a Consumer consuming a media service
Description
A ConsumptionEvent reflecting the consumption of content during a PublicationEvent. For linear services the ConsumptionEvent and PublicationEvent happen at the same time. For non-linear services, the consumer decides about the time of the ConsumptionEvent. The ConsumptionEvent results into ResonanceEvent aggregated into Resonance data.

- a person watching a news show on linear tv
- a family listening to linear radio while having breakfast at home
- a couple on their living room couch streaming a movie from a VoD service
